VisionTek has launched an SSD disk sausage on a stick, which could be the perfect complement to your micro PC, or other equipment that needs a quick and generous increase in storage.

SSDs VisionTek USB appear to be some USB drives abroad, but come with a sleek aircraft grade aluminum, but inside, offering SSD storage of various sizes: 128GB ($ 90), 256GB ($ 150), and about nothing despicable 512GB ($ 280). As the name suggests, small VisionTek USB 3.0 Pocket SSD plug into the USB 3.0 port of the computer, where they offer faster read / write speeds up to 450Mbps / 155Mbps. They are restricted by the limits of the USB 3.0 interface, which is nowhere near as fast as the modern internal SSD, but still faster than many traditional hard and well, it's portable. This could be a solid solution to transport your movie collection and your Steam library from a PC to another PC machine.

The portfolio of the VisionTek Pocket SSD is scheduled to be released later this month in North America, and as USB devices will be compatible with Macs, Windows and Linux PC devices. The story behind the story: Flash drives are not only to bring arcihvos, are becoming as spacious as the SSD and faster than rotating hard drives found in most PC units.
